Terms of Use

By registering for access to and use of the tradewithcode Platform, you confirm that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age, in compliance with the Community Terms of Use. Individuals under 18 must have parental consent to access our services.

Be Present

Please silence all device notifications and give your undivided attention during live session events and workshops. Practise mindful listening, being open to surprises, and embracing learning opportunities. Minimise multitasking to engage in the learning experience fully.

Treat others with respect

Address fellow participants with dignity and respect. Be constructive and kind. We encourage constructive feedback and discussions among community members.However, we have a zero-tolerance policy for hate speech, harassment, threats, or illegal or inappropriate behaviour. Discrimination based on gender identity, sexual orientation, race/ethnicity, or any protected class is strictly prohibited. Violation of this policy may result in removal from the community. No refunds or credits for partial subscription periods or unwatched content will be provided.

Share the space

Be mindful of the time and space you occupy. Allow all participants the opportunity to contribute, and avoid interrupting others. Creating a collaborative atmosphere fosters meaningful interactions and shared insights.

Respect names and pronouns

Please refrain from assuming anyone’s gender or identity within the group. Share your pronouns and inquire about others’ pronouns when unsure. When discussing someone whose pronouns are unknown, use they/them pronouns. Note that individuals may use different names and pronouns in other contexts.

Respect confidentiality and privacy

Maintain the confidentiality of personal experiences shared within the group. Refrain from divulging another participant’s personal information. If you discuss your experience with others, focus on what you learned without disclosing specifics or identifiable details. Let’s create a safe space for everyone.

Speak from experiences, not assumptions

Share only from your experience and perspective, using the “I statement.” Avoid making generalising statements or assumptions about others. Respect and acknowledge diverse perspectives without discrediting them. Refrain from giving unsolicited advice unless explicitly requested.

Sharing personal experiences is optional

Everyone has the right to privacy, and sharing personal experiences is voluntary. If you share a topic, be mindful of the group’s sensitivities and ensure the content is appropriate for discussion.

Take ownership over actions and words

Reflect on the impact of your behaviours, regardless of your intentions. Your responsibility is to take ownership and apologise sincerely if you inadvertently offend someone. Be open to listening, learning, and changing your behaviour.

Respect and support our moderators

Our forum moderators have earned the highest level of trust and have the authority to flag or ban users and remove content that violates our guidelines. Remember that our moderators are human too, and may occasionally need assistance.

Strictly No Spamming

Help us maintain high-quality discussions by respecting the topics and people involved. Post relevant and constructive answers, and avoid advertising or making irrelevant comments.
